Are you seeing old information on your Horizon account? Concerned that items you returned are still listed as "checked out?" Don't be. While we transfer to the new automation system, the old one will be frozen until April 9. Once Polaris is up and running, everything will be back to normal... only better!
We are in the process of changing to the new automation system, Polaris. Until April 9, no holds can be placed and no new library cards can be processed. Borrowers can still view the online catalog and check items out at our library and throughout the Illinois Heartland System. No changes have been made to Media Mall at this time, and it is still fully accessible. Once the changeover is complete, library cardholders will have access to many more items, and our check out system will be super-efficient. We thank you for your patience as we learn the new system!

Closed for Repairs
The library will be closed all day Saturday, February 16, for electrical repairs.
Kindles and Nooks and Books, Oh My!
If you are thinking about buying a Nook or a Kindle, stop by the library to try one out.
If you already have a device, we can show you how to download free books from Media Mall.
If you want to read a traditional book made out of paper... hey, we've got those too!
